Does your cooking show on your family? what does it say? does it say you are a good cook who knows the rules of nutrition, or does it say you must take time to learn them? the foods you feed your family helps to keep them well, helps to make them full of vigor and ambition or dull and listless. today it is necessary that you know more than just "how to cook." "what to cook" is equally important. remember three things when preparing meals for your family - to plan meals for better nutrition, to select foods of good quality, and . . . to cook them properly.

Do you want to feel very proud? then take something old and make something new of it. there isn't anything that will give you that feeling of accomplishment quite so much as when you've taken something that is headed for the garbage and made something new and usable from it.
